What are your hopes for the summer of 2012 ?
Hi there, I'm just hoping we get a decent summer this year with more than just a couple days of sunshine here and there. It's not asking for much but the way last summer was a bit dissappointing weatherwise. I was wondering what you were hoping for ?

I can't complain about last summer. I would be happy, if this year's summer were just the same.

Summer is never complete until I've had my individual vacations with each of my grandchildren. There are 3 kids, ages 6, 6 and 8 and I customize each trip according to their interests. We've done these vacations for 3 years and this will be the 4th. We're usually gone 5-6 days and it usually involves a plane flight since none of them have the patience to travel long distances by car.
This year's destinations include Niagara Falls, Chicago and Universal Studios. In the past, we've gone to Dinosaur camp, New York City and a cruise. As long as they are still willing to go with me, I look forward to our one-on-one trips. Their teen years will arrive all too soon and then it won't be cool to go anywhere with Grandma.

I agree that i'd like a lot more sunshine. However, with the way the weather is going so far this yearI have my doubts...

i believe this year it is nit going to be much hot because already winters are at it

A real summer would be lovely. Would love a job, but I think a house move would be the perfect start and would help me have a new start.
