I do and its heartbreaking....A young woman at 29 decided she could not face going out anymore....she stays in doors and does not go to the shed at the bottom of the garden unless someone is with her....She has tried help but to no avail....She is 36 in February and it is the same now as when she started... her life is Facebook.....

That is so sad. This is one time when one might say Facebook is a good thing, unless it is the cause of her not wanting any kind of social contact any more.

Sounds a bit like me. Im not scared but I just hate people looking at me. So I only find myself going out in public when it's absolutely neccessary (about once a month). I live in the middle of nowhere so I can go running and cycling everyday which is great...but if i see someone then i run and hide.

Wow that is really sad, to think some one will not go out and enjoy life :( i think one of my ants has it, not to close to her but i remember growing up hearing that she did not go out not even shopping and i think she still is that way.

That is sad. I did have a neighbor once in NY who's father seemed to be that way. It seemed to get worse over the years.
