I do.. people sit there and worship something that may not exist, they go to church 1-2 xs a week, they all pray & eat holy bread and drink the blood of christ. they go around and get people to join there nonsence.as well as brainwash children. they speak in tounges and think they make since. other countries do things such as drugs and pirece there face because it pleases god .. religion is deff a cult.

The truth is that people who worship the true God are worshiping the God that DOES EXIST. It isn't nonsense unless you choose to believe that it is nonsense & it is the duty of Christians to train their children to follow God but in the end it is their choice.
If you have been to a church that speaks in tongues they are outside the will of God & they are indeed part of a cult.

To some people it is.But to me its just our own beliefs.I feel that some people take religion way to serious.Actually it`s no one business what religion we are, what we believe in or practice.

It is individual perceptions , you are right as per your point of view , but you can't say oyhers are wrong. because you also don't know the fact.

I am not sure Religions in themselves are "cults" but maybe the churches that impose these beliefs can be in some way considered cult like atmospheres, imposing it's will on the people they are supposed to be guiding. These churches through their manipulation of what people should think,feel,do/not do,are acting as cult leaders. This in no way is the same meaning as a person who has faith and does so willingly and freely aside for any organized type of church.

Well everybody believes in something. Even if you believe in nothing at all, that's still something.
The reason religion came be, I feel, was to explain our own exsistance & the world around us>. The exact same reason for science & medical research/. I find nothing wrong with that in itself>>
BUT >>>>>As time went by>>> Religion evolved into to something far different than searching for answers>> SO I have to com[pletely agree with corbin56 on this one.

I really don't believe I am saying this, but for once I am in agreement with you. Religion was formed many MANY years ago to force the less fortunate in to submission and it worked. It caught on and it continues to brainwash the majority of the population. I really find it hard to believe that so many people believe in this crap. People are living their lives by what some book says. Okay, I'm not going to get into that, however, that book that I'm speaking of is the biggest selling fairy tale of all time and so many people have fallen for it. Not only is religion a cult, it is also a SCAM.

I don't know about cult--but it's brainwashing...A sneaky way to control the masses

sometimes, it depends on the religion and how pushy the people are.
