What funny weather we've been having.It is December 15th and I still have a few cherry tomatoes on my tomato plant. How weird is that? There are still a few leaves on the trees, some of them even a recognisable shade of green. But change is on its way. Yesterday I got caught in thunder and hail. The weather forecast says there could be a few inches of snow tomorrow. I just want all my family home safely for Christmas. How about you?

Well it is now 12th january and the weather is still very mild - very good for our solar energy.

Can't say I have. I have to use three different pairs of glasses - one for reading, one for distance and one for computer work. It drives me bananas. I have photochromic lenses on my distance specs, so at least I don't have to buy separate sunglasses. I tried varifocals, but they made me feel seasick. Pity. What about you?

I don't at the moment. I'm seriously thinking of getting one though. This is a card that gives you cash back evey time you use it. And if you pay it all off at the end of the month, you make a small profit. I wonder what the catch is. Maybe there is a higher interest rate to pay if you don't pay off your balance in full at the end of each month. But I don't know all the details yet, I'm still researching.
