I’m not sure if I will or not. I like everyone who has followed me or that I am following but we are doing it mainly to earn points. If Toluna stops rewarding us Event points, there’s really not any reason to create topics or polls or to follow someone except to keep up the friendship. I think Toluna is making a big mistake by stopping the Event points. Being able to interact with other users is one of the things that made this such a unique survey site but now it’s going to seem just like all the others.

My mom talked an employee at Walmart and they told her the door greeters will now be walking around the store instead of standing up front greeting customers. I think that this is a big mistake. I think Walmart is just asking to get ripped off. Walmart does have electronic detection for items that have electronic tags to keep people from walking out without paying but someone still has to be there to stop them. And what about items without the tags, such as candy bars and drinks? What do you think?

I like that they have actually put a message box under the user’s picture so we can leave a message for everyone. I think that will be great. I like that you can see your points without having to go to the “Points and Sweepstakes” page. I don’t like that the points are no longer separated (surveys separate from Quick Votes and Event credits). It’s just one long list. That will make it harder to keep track of when you have Maxed out for the month. I don’t really like the basic layout either. It looks too much like some other sites. I like the home page as it is now, it’s much easier to read than the beta site. So what do you think of the Beta site? Please try to be specific. After all, Toluna can’t change something if we’re not clear on why we don’t or do like something they’ve done.
