I was going 76 in a 60mph on the freeway at midnight. Any ideas how I can get it reduced or dropped? I'm living with my parents, have a part time job, and trying to pay off student loans. I can't afford 175 bucks for something so dumb.

I don't really have an answer for you. I have never had a speeding ticket or traffic violation in over 30 years of driving.

I'm only staying two nights, so I'd prefer to hear about activities that take a couple hours as opposed to day trip type things. Thanks!

I have never been to Portland, Oregon, or anywhere near there. I only have a joke suggestion and that is to visit the Portlandia show. I doubt that the show is really filmed there. I just saw that you posted this topic 15 Jan, and you were going in Feb, so this post is much too late.

I just think it's silly to write down a list of things you're gonna break and re-write all over again next year anyway.

I do not put much faith in New Year's resolutions. While it is good to think that you have intentions of improving yourself, why only make this goal on New Year's Day? Why not set a goal any time of the year? For example, a diet can be started any old time and maybe January is not the best time to do it. If you need to improve anything about yourself, just begin any time. There is no better time to start to change yourself than today!!!
