I recently heard a newscast that stated that the US ranks 25th when it comes to where the high school students rank in Math and Science. It seems to me that there is plenty of money to throw around on making the lunchroom healthier (which I agree it necessary to a point), but I would much rather see that money put to use for the teachers and equipment that would help these students catch up with their peers in other countries in the fields of math and science. I am sure that many of the schools would love to have a decent science department, not just whatever has been there for x number of years. I think there is a much better way to spend the taxpayers money when it comes to the schools and our kids education.

THE SNEEZE

They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-two students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With their rich maroon gowns flowing and the traditional caps, they looked almost as grown up as they felt.


Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and Moms freely brushed away tears.


This class would NOT pray during the commencements, not by choice, but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it.The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by the ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings on the graduates or their families.


The speeches were nice, but they were routine until the final speech received a standing ovation.


A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and silent for just a moment, and then, it happened.


All 92 students, every single one of them, suddenly SNEEZED !!!!



The student on stage simply looked at the audience and said,


'GOD BLESS YOU'

And he walked off the stage...
The audience exploded into applause. This graduating class had found a unique way to invoke God's blessing on their future with or without the court's approval.

This is a true story; it happened at Eastern Shore District High School in Musquodoboit Harbour , Nova Scotia.

When I hear people talking about being deep in debt and getting phone calls and collection letters this is what I always tell them. NEVER IGNORE THEM, they will just get worse. Call them and try to work out a payment plan. You would be surprised at how little they will accept as a monthly payment as long as you are willing to pay something. I was in a situation many years ago after a divorce and all of the debts were equally divided. I called each of the companies that were put on my side to pay. I explained the situation and everyone of them accepted the amount I said I could pay each month. It took me several years of very hard work, but I managed to pay them all off. I paid off the smaller ones first and that enabled me to add more each month to the larger ones. I received several letters when each bill was paid in full that stated, "Anytime you need a reference, please feel free to use our company." I stressed this to all of my kids, and it has worked for all of them throughout the years.
