I was counting my money this morning to see how much cash I had on hand. I was finishing count and then rip; I had torn a big chunk off one of my bills. I have gone to some retailers in the past and they will not take the money, others are okay with it. Now I am wondering if I should just go to a bank and exchange the bill or try to give it to a retailer. I do not want to wait until I am down to my last bill (I use the terms: dollar, bill or money interchangeable as terms for my cash) and then not have the person at the establishment take the money. Does this type of thing happen to you? Many people use debit, credit cards, reloadable cash cards and the like, rather than use money. Some use their cell/ or mobile phones for transactions. How do you feel about paper money and worn money?

I thought this was such an amazing story. I am so glad that the bus driver was able to stop this driver from getting away with hitting this bike rider. I realize that there is only so much room on the road, but hitting someone and trying to run off is never humane. It is amazing that the bus driver was able to see what was going on, especially since the bus was ahead of the accident. The bus and another car blocked the driver from running off. The bike was quite mangled, the rider was hurt, but he survived and the bad person was brought to justice. Have you ever wanted to use your car or in same way stop a bad guy or girl from getting away with something?

There has been much talk about laws and how to create them in an equal and equitable way. Many people want laws but decide to follow them or not follow them at their leisure. People are being shot, robbed and harassed by those that do no adhere to the law. Unless we create beautiful people we are always going to need laws. There is no way around laws, but who will follow the letter of the law? With tough times more people have found themselves in ugly situations. Some people are living on the streets, some are robbing their neighbor, and some are killing their neighbor. I once heard a quotation that went something like this: unless you create beautiful people, then all the beautiful things will not matter.
