Saturday morning I ended up in our community hospital after going to an emergence center. I was there for 27 wonderful hours. When I got there all seemed to be good. Then the fun started. Too many people were there that night-- especially the drunks and drug users that got into an accident and the police had to have them checked out first before taking them to jail. There were so many of them that they decided, even though my blood count was already around 7 that they were going to take more blood with me sitting in the chair in the hallway. Didn't work out to well. I went into what one nurse said was a seizure and another one just freaked out. Needless to say, they moved one of the drunks and got me a bed. Then it took them about 4 hours to decide that I needed blood immediately but unfortunately though the orders were finally filled out, they misplaced the blood so it took several more hours to get one and six more hours to get the second one. They moved me to three different rooms. Made my husband help me to and from everywhere and when I passed out they seemed to get a little upset. At 3am they finally moved me to an observation room and at 5 checked my blood again and decided that since it was now at 8, I could go home. No, they are not sure what caused it, other than it is not bleeding and they do not plan on finding out why I keep getting this way. However, they did say that if I got to this point again, just keep coming back -- since I could die. I am on a waiting list -- almost a year long-- to see a blood doctor, even though at least several of these test could have been done easily right there and them. Something is wrong with our system!!!!

I sure do. I am not going to go into who I am planning on voting for though I am sure a few of you already know. I personally don't care who anyone votes for as long as they are vote for who they truly believe is the best person for the job. Let the voting decide!

I don't right now but hopefully my husband and I will get to go somewhere this year. I think even a nice 4 day weekend some place will be great for a change.
