Any suggestions for a song for the Mother-Groom dance at my son's wedding? Guys, I'd like your input too. Thanks!

This is a very emotional time for me. My "baby boy" is 29 and engaged! As he said to me "I never thought it would happen and it did." I am so happy for him and my future daughter-in-law. My son was in a very abusive relationship in his very early 20's and it has taken all of this time to get past it. I was seriously beginning to wonder if he would or could. So on a happier note, the new couple are planning a summer wedding. It will be held outside in a beautiful setting followed by a small reception. It sounds like they are planning to have their own spin on the day while still incorporating some old wedding traditions as well. Which brings me to the possibility of needing a request for a song for my dance with my son. I'd like something a little different to go along with the rest of the wedding. We have been very close through the years but I am happy to see him beginning this very important chapter in his life. Any ideas?

Bronnie Ware, an Australian nurse who spent several years caring for patients in the last 12 weeks of their life, recorded their dying epiphanies and put her observations into a book called The Top Five Regrets of the Dying.

Here is what she reported:

1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me. (This was the most common regret of all.)

2. I wish I hadn't worked so hard.

3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

I have to go along with all five of these to some extent. What would your biggest regret be?

Do you agree with Mitt Romney that $374,000 earned in a year is ". . not very much"?

According to a report January 17 (Reuters) - "Republican Mitt Romney acknowledged Tuesday that his income tax rate is "probably closer to 15 percent than anything," suggesting that one of the wealthiest people to ever run for U.S. president pays a much lower rate than most Americans."

The article continues: "It also drew fire from the Democratic White House and other critics, who said it reflected how Romney, whose estimated net worth is $270 million, is out of touch with the experiences and concerns of typical Americans.

Romney, a former private equity executive and Massachusetts governor, seemed to feed that narrative on Tuesday. He said that he gets speaker fees 'from time to time, but not very much.'

Annual campaign financial disclosure forms indicate that he was paid more than $374,000 in speaker fees from February 2010 to February 2011."

That's not my idea of "not very much". Is it yours????
