I have heard that slot machines tend to be more loose when there is a full moon. Something about magnetic something or other? I have also made a comment about it must be a full moon when someone is acting a fool. Reply

I have heard of this happening to people but I don't think I ever noticed anything different about myself during a Full Moon. Reply

If there is a full moon while I'm on a camping vacation, it enables short nighttime hikes, which I do occasionally take. If there is either a full moon upcoming or a new moon upcoming, and I'm home (Los Angeles), I'll check time-and-tide tables for unusually low tides. If the low tide at the Santa Monica Municipal Pier (the location closest to me) is -2.5 feet or even lower, I batten things down in anticipation of a raised probability of an earthquake. Lately, the lowest tides have been in the neighborhood of -0.4 feet, nothing to be concerned about. Reply
