Who is in charge?

As you might know, Poland and Baltic states currently are facing a migrant crisis at their borders (created by the mad Lukashenko). As these countries are members of the EU and NATO, they are protecting EU borders, too. That's why high officials of EU and NATO are visiting these borders. The photo was taken yesterday, during the meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Adazi, Latvia. Doesn't it just make you smile? (Joana will like it 100% :) ).

Can you caption this photo?

Great photo! Top cat leads the way!
The migrants there are in a very bad situation as winter falls. But countries have closed their borders for a long time now due to covid. They can not have hoped to enter, realistically. And with new variants spreading, I think they would do better to look for shelter in the country where they stand. Then we see how migrants are struggling and dying in the English Channel because they don't like being in Europe. The UK does not want more potentially infected people either.

While it's possible someone in Lukashenko's circle hatched the notion for the knuckle dragger, I'd wager the marching orders probably came from roughly 717kms further east.
