What a shame, I can understand her embarassment as no teenager want to stand out or be different from the rest. Especially with an embarassing problem. I hope she decided to go for its as its the best hope for her. At least she has a supportive family!!

I assume from your later topic that she has had the operation. If she hasn't the best thing to do is to let her get us to the idea. Explain to her that if she wants to ask anything, that you can explain or put her in touch with someone else who can explain. If she has access to the internet suggest that she may want to do some research on it before she completely refuses the operation.

Wow i guess that must be embarrassing for her I hope you get it sorted for her. My two brothers were wetting the bed one age 6, the other age 11. My mum went to see a Bach flower remedy consultant. She gave them drops and within three weeks, they were both dry. One had an accident about 2 weeks later and then that was it, they have been dry ever since and this has been over two years. Please google about it, I am confident this will help your daughter. If not, contact me, and I can put you in touch with the lady who helped my brothers. Do this through the email box. All the best with it. (leave me a public message)

Physical Therapy can help train the pelvic floor muscles to hold the bladder taute and relinquish leakage. I would ask for physical therapy as well - it works great on older women who have birthed, I trust it will work on your 16 year old daughter
